Reward 1:  Free Snipe Day

On Friday, November 27 all snipes added for all users will have a green “freebie” snipe icon.

Reward 2: $20 or $50 bonus bucks

With purchases of $50 or more on your personal “Extend Service” tab in your BidSlammer account. Please note we have discontinued “double bucks” programs and replaced them with reduced costs and massively-enhanced service and never-expiring free bucks. In the last year there are too many improvements to mention, but if we have earned your trust, we would like you to consider going long-term to save money. Remember, all payments never expire, not even the bonus portions. We will keep adding features.

Post a story about an item you won using BidSlammer and get a Free T-shirt. Details in “Super Slams” category on the forum.

Reward 4: Free Long-sleeve T-shirt plus $10 site credit

Post a link to us in your blog or website with a short blurb about an item you won using BidSlammer and get a Free Long-sleeve T-shirt (a $30 value) plus an additional $10 site credit. Send a message to the helpdesk to claim your reward.

Talk to BidSlammer Using Your Mobile Phone

Never be outbid again!  You can talk to your BidSlammer account using any mobile phone or device that has e-mail or SMS capability.  We have added more features to this service, which we introduced last November.

No downloads or installations are necessary.  Our product simply uses e-mail or SMS capabilities already available on your phone.

Here’s how it works:

1. Specify a mobile e-mail SMS address in your Preferences.
2. Click the STAR image next to your most important snipes.
3. Read the alerts on your cell phone wnd reply to them using one of the available commands.

You can use commands to change bids, get a status on an auction, or ask for help.  Click here for the detailed list of commands you can use with SnipeWire.

MobileSnipe is 100% free (included) with the service.  You may toggle alerts for each snipe individually, or set thresholds.

Auction Tribune is Back!

We have re-released Auction Tribune, our auction search service that searches eBay and alerts you via e-mail when new items are available.  See the image below to see an example of how the service looks when seen through my G-Mail account.

Here’s how our service improves on eBay’s own search service:

• Easier to set up and manage
• Results for all searches combined into one e-mail
• Can accept broader searches without spamming you to death
• Will keep a list of notification items for 30 days.

BidSlammer 2.0 is now completely released!

We are happy to introduce our new site look!  You can tour the new site here.

We also launched our new community forum.  All active BidSlammer accounts have been copied over to the forum, so you should not have to register – just log in!  It will take a while for the forum to populate, but we are redirecting all our customer service there.

We will be announcing some of the newer features in the blog in upcoming weeks … so make sure and stay tuned.

We are pleased to unveil the new BidSlammer logo.  The coolest sniping service ever now has the coolest logo!  :-)

We are releasing our new site look this weekend.  And we totally love it — the red and black are “the colors of sniping”, that is, sniping guns are black and targets are always red.  We are getting rid of our current “soft blue,” because 1992 called — they wanted their web designer back!  Blech.

Keep an eye out for the matching red & black website coming soon.  We just wanted to formally establish our new mark — and whet your whistle for some more neat things coming down the line this month.
